About
Built for the decisions that
keep you up at night
Financial Foresight started with a simple problem. No tool existed provided what we needed. We needed something that could go beyond budgeting and help us make informed financial decisions.
Most financial apps are built around tracking what you've already spent. That's useful, but it doesn't help when you're standing at a crossroads trying to figure out which direction to go. Should you buy a cheaper house and invest the difference? What if you stretched your budget a little further? What does that look like in 10 or 20 years?
We wanted something that could show us the long-term picture. Real comparisons between different choices, laid out clearly enough that we could make confident decisions. Something that felt less like a spreadsheet and more like a planning tool that understood the questions we were asking.
That's how Financial Foresight started. It began as a mortgage comparison tool where you could plug in different house prices, estimate the full cost of ownership, and see how the gap between your budget and your payment could grow if you invested it. It's since grown into something broader: a place to model "what if" scenarios around any big financial decision, compare the outcomes, pick a path, and then stick with it.
One thing to be clear about: this isn't financial advice. Financial Foresight doesn't tell you what to do with your money. What it does is give you structure, clarity, and real numbers so you can think through your options and make your own informed choice. That's what was missing for us, and we think it's missing for a lot of people.
